Missions is not something that we do, going on trips around the world, or even in our community, but missions are who we are. We are a people with a message that can change any situation in life. The message we have can transform even the darkest of situations and hearts into a life of purpose, meaning, fulfillment, and joy. Missions tell us of the hope we have in Jesus. Mark 16:15 tells us, “Go into all the nations and preach the Gospel.”

Since we did not make it into all the world, God actually has brought all of the world right to our door-step.  All around us are people from every walk of life, from every nationality and every race. There are more languages spoken in our very community than we realize. There are people from all faiths living among us. We must see them and give the message of truth, hope and salvation: the message of Jesus Christ. The Bible is clear, that “every knee shall bow and every tongue confess, Jesus is Lord.” (Philippians 2:10)

As Christians, we have the only hope for our world, faith in Jesus Christ. We cannot keep it to ourselves, but we must share so that everyone will know and have the opportunity to receive Jesus through faith for themselves. Share Jesus with someone today. Tell them what He has done and is doing in your life. That is enough to change our world. Help make the Kingdom of God a reality for everyone you meet. Let us join together as people on mission for God.

Have a blessed day!
